About Me

Hello! I'm Eva and I'm excited to help students succeed in their studies and look forward to guiding them on their academic journey and helping them to achieve their goals! My main focus is to create a supportive and interactive environment where students can ask questions, tackle challenges and build their confidence.
My tutoring experience has included 1-1 online sessions with a range of students, some needing a confidence boost and others wanted to improve their grades. I have planned, organised and implemented computing workshops in a SEN school with students aged between 8 - 13 years old. This invaluable work experience has taught me the skills to be flexible, patient and understanding when meeting a range of needs.
I'm currently in my final year at Loughborough University where I'm completing a degree in Computing and Management. I have just completed a year as an Intern at Microsoft and was successfully offered a job there once I have graduated. During my Internship, I regularly presented to large audiences and I am able to relate to people from diverse backgrounds and experiences. I enjoy getting to know new people and I'm able to build relationships quickly with my students online.
GCSEs are a not too distant memory so I can relate to the ups and downs of preparing and taking exams. I have always enjoyed studying and proved myself to be self-motivated and hard working at school. Although I received high grades in my GCSEs , it did not necessarily come easily. I found that during covid, I had to do a lot of self-study and had to learn how to be efficient with my learning. Where I struggled, I discovered techniques to help me focus and to organise my time carefully.
